Day 01 Arrive Bangalore

You will be received and greeted by company representative at the airport and transferred to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02 Bangalore-Mysore (144 Kms)levitra France

After breakfast and check out from the hotel, we start a half day tour of Bangalore city, visits include: Lallbagh, (240 acres of beautifully sculpted gardens with some rare collection of tropical and sub-tropical plants), Tipu Sultan’s Palace, The Bull Temple (Dedicated to Lord Shiva). After completion of the tour, drive to Mysore. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel for overnight.

Day 03 Mysore

After breakfast, we start a full day tour of Mysore city, famous for its magnificent palaces, majestic buildings, sprawling gardens and much more. Today’s visits include, Maharaja Palace (this palace is a splendid structure built in Indo-Saracenic style), Art Gallery at Jagmohan Palace (an excellent collection of ceramics, sandalwood, ivory and antique furniture and musical instruments) and lastly Brindavan Gardens (musical fountains and colored lights that amaze every person visiting this beautiful place). Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 04 Mysore-Ooty (130 Kms)

After breakfast and check out from the hotel, drive to Ooty, it is a popular hill station located in the Nilgiri Hills. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Later, visit Botanical Gardens, Rose Garden and end the day with a boat ride on Ooty lake. Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 05 Ooty-Coimbatore (85 Kms)
Coimbaore-Cochin (By Train)

After breakfast and check out from the hotel, transfer to Coimbatore railway station to board Ernakulam Express (ETD 1310 Hrs) for Cochin (ETA 1655 Hrs). Pick up from Cochin railway station and drop at hotel. Later in the evening, enjoy a live Kathakali dance performance by local artists. Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 06 Cochin

Cochin (also known as Kochi) is truly a museum city. Fort Cochin is believed to be the oldest European settlement in India. Half day is spent visiting, Dutch Palace, Jew Town, Chinese Fishing nets and St. Francis Xavier’s Church. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07 Cochin-Kumarakom (80 Kms)

After breakfast and check out leave for Kumarakom, which is another jewel in the crown of God’s Own Country – Kerala. The tropical city of Kumarakom has cluster of small picturesque islands around the Vembanad Lake, with its beautiful landscapes and scenic environment. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Evening is at leisure. You may take a sunset cruise on Vembanad Lake or go for an rejuvenating Ayurvedic massage (on direct payment basis, this is not included in our quote). Excellent marine and freshwater fish including tasty karimeen (also known as pearl spotted fish), shrimp and prawns are available in the area, making it perfect to enjoy a lip smacking sea food platter. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 08 Kumarakom-Alleypey

After breakfast, one hour drive takes you to the Jettey at Alleypey (also known as Venice of the East) Board a houseboat (old rice barges) at 1200 hours. It is interesting to watch the village life as you cruise. Lunch and dinner will be served on the houseboat. Overnight on the houseboat.

Day 09 Alleypey-Thekkady (150 Kms)

Disembark the houseboat after breakfast and drive to Thekkady. Afternoon visit Periyar National Park. It is an abode of animals like Sambars, Tigers, Lion tailed Macaques, Gaurs, Nilgiri Langurs, Elephants to name a few. It was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. It also has an artificial lake. You can enjoy a boat ride on the lake. Hopefully one might be able to spot wildlife. Periyar is also considered a heaven for natural spices such as black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon and clove. Evening is at leisure to stroll through the local market. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10 Thekkady-Madurai (140 Kms)

In the morning, around 7am to 9.30am, leave for a Spice plantation tour with a naturalist followed by visit to an Elephant camp where you can enjoy elephant bathing and ride. Return to hotel for breakfast and check out and drive to Madurai. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 11 Madurai

After breakfast, full day sightseeing of Madurai. Madurai is one of the oldest cities in South India and has been the center of learning and pilgrimage for centuries. Visit Tirumalai Nayak Mahal and the Gandhi museum. Later in the evening, visit Sri Meenakshi temple. Meenakshi temple is a spectacular pastiche of Dravidian architecture. The temple occupies an area of 6 hectares. Its 12 highly decorative Gopurams range in height from 45m to 50m and are adorned with carvings of celestial and animal figures. Take a rickshaw ride around the temple. Later return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 12 Madurai-Chennai (By Air)
Chennai-Mahabalipuram (65 Kms)

After breakfast and check out, in time transfer to airport to board your flight for Chennai.
At Chennai airport you will be received by company staff and transferred to Mahabalipuram. Mahabalipuam also known as Mamallapuram (A classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site). It has historic monuments built largely between the 7th and 9th century and has named after The Pallava King Mamalla. After the visit, we proceed to Pondicherry. On arrival, check in to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 13 Mahabalipuram-Chennai Departure (65 Kms)

Leave Mahabalipuram after breakfast and check out and drive to Chennai. You will be dropped at airport to board your flight for onward journey.
