Day 01 Arrive Chennailevitra acheter

You will be greeted by company representative at Chennai airport and transferred to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02 Chennai-Kanchipuram (75 Kms)

In the morning after breakfast, we drive for a day excursion to Kanchipuram. Kanchipuram is a spectacular temple city and is popular for its silk sarees. It is also known for its culture and civilization. The city was the capital of the early Cholas and it was the capital of Pallavas between 6th and 8th centuries. On arrival, we visit Kailasanatha Temple, this is one of the oldest Shiva temples in Tamilnadu. There are 58 small shrines situated around the main shrine, as a compound wall. This shall be followed by a visit to Sri Varadaraja Perumal Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple along with Ekambareswarar temple and Kamakshi Amman temple in Kanchipuram is popularly known as Mumurtivasam (abode to trio) while Sri Rangam is referred to as The Koil (meaning ‘temple’) and Tirupathi as the Malai (meaning ‘hill’) . In the evening we return to our hotel in Chennai for overnight.

Day 03 Chennai-Mahabalipuram-Chennai (65 Kms)

After breakfast leave for a full day excursion to Mahabalipuam also known as Mamallapuram (A classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site). It has historic monuments built largely between the 7th and 9th century and has named after The Pallava King Mamalla. After the visit, we return to Chennai for overnight stay.

Day 04 Chennai-Banagalore (By Train)

After breakfast and check out, transfer to the railway station to board train for Bangalore. On arrival, pick up from the railway station and transfer to the hotel for overnight.

Day 05 Bangalore-Mysore (144 Kms)

After breakfast and check out from the hotel, we start a half day tour of Bangalore city, visits include: Lallbagh, (240 acres of beautifully sculpted gardens with some rare collection of tropical and sub-tropical plants), Tipu Sultan’s Palace, The Bull Temple (Dedicated to Lord Shiva). After completion of the tour, drive to Mysore. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel for overnight.

Day 06 Mysore

After breakfast, we start a full day tour of Mysore city, famous for its magnificent palaces, majestic buildings, sprawling gardens and much more. Today’s visits include, Maharaja Palace (this palace is a splendid structure built in Indo-Saracenic style), Art Gallery at Jagmohan Palace (an excellent collection of ceramics, sandalwood, ivory and antique furniture and musical instruments) and lastly Brindavan Gardens (musical fountains and colored lights that amaze every person visiting this beautiful place). Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 07 Mysore-Ooty (130 Kms)

After breakfast and check out from the hotel, drive to Ooty, it is a popular hill station located in the Nilgiri Hills. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Later, visit Botanical Gardens, Rose Garden and end the day with a boat ride on Ooty lake. Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 08 Ooty-Coimbatore (85 Kms)
Coimbaore-Cochin (By Train)

After breakfast and check out from the hotel, transfer to Coimbatore railway station to board Ernakulam Express (ETD 1310 Hrs) for Cochin (ETA 1655 Hrs). Pick up from Cochin railway station and drop at hotel. Later in the evening, enjoy a live Kathakali dance performance by local artists. Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 09 Cochin

Cochin (also known as Kochi) is truly a museum city. Fort Cochin is believed to be the oldest European settlement in India. Half day is spent visiting, Dutch Palace, Jew Town, Chinese Fishing nets and St. Francis Xavier’s Church. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10 Cochin-Alleypey (60 Kms)

After breakfast and check out, drive to Alleypey (also known as Venice of the East) Board a houseboat (old rice barges) at 1200 hours. It is interesting to watch the village life as you cruise. Lunch and dinner will be served on the houseboat. Overnight on the houseboat.

Day 11 Alleypey-Kovalam (170 Kms)

Breakfast will be served on the houseboat. Later disembark, and drive to Kovalam. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel for overnight.

Day 12 Kovalam – on your own

Day 13 Kovalam – on your own

Day 14 Kovalam-Trivandrum Departure

After breakfast and check out, transfer to Trivandrum airport to board flight for onward journey.
