Day 01 Arrive Delhicialis

You will be greeted by company representative at Delhi airport and transferred to your hotel for overnight.
(Standard Check in time1200 Hrs)

Day 02 Delhi

After breakfast at the hotel, half day sightseeing of Old Delhi. Visit includes Raj Ghat (Memorial to Mahatma Gandhi), Jama Masjid (One of the largest mosques in India), busy and narrow winding streets of old Chandni Chowk and drive pass the Red Fort (Also known as Lal Quila). Lunch (on your own) at a local restaurant. After lunch, proceed for sightseeing of New Delhi, visiting Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate, Government buildings, Rashtrapati Bhawan (President’s House) and Connaught Place. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03 Delhi-Agra (220 Kms)

After breakfast and check out, drive to Agra. On arrival check in to the hotel. In the afternoon half day tour of city, visits include Itmad-Ud-Daulah or the baby Taj and Agra Fort. Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 04 Agra-Fatehpur Sikri-Jaipur (250 Kms)

Early morning, preferably at sunrise, visit the World famous Taj Mahal “The Monument of Love” A symbol of endless love and devotion of Emperor Shah Jahan to his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj is a befitting tribute to such a romantic love story and a divine emotion that binds two souls forever. Return to the hotel for breakfast and check out. Later drive to Jaipur. En-route visit of Fatehpur Sikri “the Ghost city”. On arrival check in to the hotel for overnight.

Day 05 Jaipur

After breakfast, full day sightseeing of ‘The Pink City’ starting with Amber Fort, located 11 Kms away from Jaipur.. It is among the best hilltop forts in India. You can enjoy an Elephant ride at the fort (this is subject to availability and government rules and regulations). In the afternoon, visit City Palace and Observatory. Photo Stop at Hawa Mahal. Overnight is at the hotel.

Day 06 Jaipur-Kochi (By Air via Mumbai)

After breakfast and check out from the hotel, transfer to the airport to board flight for Kochi (via Mumbai). Upon arrival in Kochi, you will be transferred to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 07 Kochi-Periyar (or Thekkady 160 Kms)

After breakfast and check out, drive to Thekkady/Periyar. Upon arrival, assisted check in to the hotel followed by visit of Periyar National Park. It is an abode of animals like Sambars, Tigers, Lion tailed Macaques, Gaurs, Nilgiri Langurs, Elephants to name a few. It was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. It also has an artificial lake. You can enjoy a boat ride on the lake. Hopefully one might be able to spot wildlife. Periyar is also considered a heaven for natural spices such as black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon and clove. Evening is at leisure to stroll through the local market. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 08 Periyar-Kumarakom (130 Kms)

In the morning, around 7am to 9.30am, leave for a Spice plantation tour with a naturalist followed by visit to an Elephant camp where you can enjoy elephant bathing and ride. Return to hotel for breakfast and check out. Leave for Kumarakom, which is another jewel in the crown of God’s Own Country – Kerala. The tropical city of Kumarakom has cluster of small picturesque islands around the Vembanad Lake, with its beautiful landscapes and scenic environment. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Evening is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 09 Kumarakom-Alleypey-Kumarakom

Around 11am, you will be transferred to a jetty in Alleypey (Also known as Venice of the East) where you board a house boat for a day cruise. It is interesting to watch the village life as you cruise. Lunch will be served on the houseboat. In the evening, return to Kumarakom for overnight stay.

Day 10 Kumarakom-Kochi (90 Kms)

After breakfast and checkout, leave for Cochin. Cochin (also known as Kochi) is truly a
museum city. Fort Cochin is believed to be the oldest European settlement in India. Half day is spent visiting, Dutch Palace, Jew Town, Chinese Fishing nets and St. Francis Xavier’s Church. To end the day, enjoy Katahkali Dance performance. Check in to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 11 Cochin Departure

After breakfast, day is free for individual activities. Late, in-time transfer to airport to board flight for onward journey.
